Baby showers, there have plenty of those, but it was fun to do something a little different.
Today we threw a bridal shower for Kelly. She will be a beautiful June bride.
As I watched her talk about T.C. and open the gifts that will fill their home, I couldn't help but think it has been a while since I was a young bride. Almost 13 years. In some ways that seems so long ago and in other ways, it doesn't seem that it could possibly be so many years.
It was refreshing, though, and a joy to anticipate their wedding day.
