Can you hear the birds? Maybe a couple of fish jumping out of the water? And the quiet?
This was the setting for our women's retreat this weekend.
A "cabin" in a state park with two porches, several rocking chairs, 15 ladies, good food, sweet fellowship, and a call to rest. Not to do nothing, not to demand "me" time, not to "veg" out but to purposefully rest in the finished work of Christ.
