Here's spring in our backyard this week
Why do they call this a red-bud?
This little guy pops out every once in a while. He's cute as he can be.
Sammy is filling our house with these. I think it's mostly because he has to climb a tree to get them.
This is my favorite! The bird feeder is a busy place lately. I especially enjoy these little yellow finches. They are feisty and so quick!

My favorite spring tree in the neighborhood is the redbud that is in your former yard. It's feathery (probably dying) but is so pretty against the green!
